Since JupyterHub usually comes with a persistent home directory for the user, [nbgitpuller](https://github.com/jupyterhub/nbgitpuller/) is commonly used for this purpose instead. We should explore ways to integrate nbgitpuller (and other ways to distribute content) in the future.
