Feature request: Also animate when tapping or clicking a tab

I love the slide animation when swiping to another tab! It would be really nice to also see an animation when switching tabs by tapping or clicking. It would make for a bit more cohesive user experience as currently it's a bit jarring to have animation with one way, but not for the other. Maybe the swipe animation could be initiated, based on which side of the current tab, the one you switch to is on?

Pull requests are always welcome.
I prefer to invest my (very limited 😥) time on other features, mostly because I fear that this one might be fragile and will likely break on HA frontend updates. I'm sorry.

100% understandable! I'm not a programmer in the slightest, but I might see if I can figure it out at some point :)
