Victor King received a BA from Fourah Bay College in 1927, a diploma of theology in 1929, and a master’s degree in 1931. He also received a degree from the University of London in 1932 and completed a PhD in 1957.
He completed a master’s degree in race relations at Yale in 1936, writing a thesis on “Secondary Education in Sierra Leone.” He married Annie Elizabeth MacCauley in 1937, and they had four children.
