My first thought is, the image would be very long, since normally there might be hundreds fonts installed on our systems. ueberzug used in the script shows an image in the terminal, and fit the image in available space. Hence, the image would be too small/narrow to see.
This feature would be feasible for a GUI application, like gtk's font chooser.
Feature idea
Preview all font at once in a list (one font per line).
Would make it easy to compare lot of fonts at once.
