Items to consider:

  • Solution ID. We may have the ability to decorate the SDK implementation for the Solution ID. Also need to consider usefulness. Ideally, there is a rev share to consider. At the very least, tracking capabilities.
  • Akamai endpoints. See Update Authorize.net Endpoints #8. Updating the SDK should fix this, but we'll also have internal references to update.
  • Security Certificate Upgrades to api.authorize.net

The Sept 21 upgrades to api.authorize.net are the same ones they did to secure.authorize.net on May, and a new version of GC was released with upgraded certificates to deal with this. So this shouldn't be a problem, (I'll be testing on Sept 21 to be sure).

I can tell you that as of the 21 a site that I am working on no longer connects to Auth.net
Was running older versions of everything, updated the cert and also tried latest GC and WEC with latest WP

The current version of Gold Cart 2.9.9 works. This has been tried and tested. If you are having trouble with Auth.net and are using Gold Cart 2.9.9 something else is happening. You should open a support topic to have it looked into.
