Dropdown option instead of button in Navigation

At some point it might be interesting to have dropdown/select of months or years in the button at Navigation.

For instance, when using the calendar to allow the user set a birth date, it could be a bit tedious to click the prev2Label button a lot of times until he/she would reach his/her birth year.

I know there's the option to drill up to decade or century views but maybe another option could be having this direct dropdown that could display a list of years.
