Would it be helpful to have a small function that displays an image if the screen is large and another one if it is small? It's just putting divs with the right CSS (sm-only or lg-only) and the right picture in them, but I wrote that piece of code 5 times and it could be automated. Or maybe it should be in an extension?

My immediate reaction is that it should not be in the core library because in the "normal" case CSS should resize the images automatically, but I'll think about it a bit more.
