Support for propietary prompts with open source projects?

Is there any way an open source project could use the Vercel platform and the AI SDK to have a proprietary prompt?

What I'm imagining is a way to get an API end point that works within the same project but the code comes from a separate private github repo - and the main project is on a public github repo.

I wonder if this would be a valuable use case for projects that want help with UI but want to keep their 'secret sauce' private.

Even better would be if the private repo end point could use the same auth system as the main tree.

Not sure if this is something that could be baked into the AI SDK or whether it's just some extra build step.
