Postie does not check multi-store setups #143

Describe the bug

I have two stores installed, and the Store Setup screen in Postie doesn't seem to check the second store. I know (I tested) I have not set weight and dimensions for some products in my second store, but Postie says my setup is "Perfect! You don't need to update any products." I'm afraid it's wrong, though ;-)

I've not tested much else yet, so I don't know if any other features are not Multi-Store aware.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Set up two stores with products
  2. Leave dimensions and weight off the products in the second store
  3. Check Postie Store Setup; it says everything is fine

I might be missing something with how you setup a multi-store (still new to me!), but what does your product types look like? Setting up multiple stores seems simple enough, but how do you constrain products to a particular store, similar to how you do with sites? The product type doesn't seem to let you configure that.

Sorry, I've not been well, and I'm only online for a few minutes. The Site Settings are at the bottom of the Product Type settings. There you find a table that mirrors what's available for sections, where you can choose "which sites this product type should be available in, and configure the site-specific settings".

Thanks for the response, and that was what I assumed, so I setup the products in their respective sites. This doesn't seem to match up with the store though. Just because a product type is enabled for a site doesn't have anything to do with the store its on?

I suppose the reason for my confusion is that it seems to be working okay for me with a multi-site setup.

But when you're back on board, if you can maybe show me your product type, store and site settings, that'd be great!

I'm still not really back on board, but I am getting to the point where I think it might be best to ignore this for now. Right at the moment I'm finding so many possible bugs or otherwise strange behaviours in Craft Commerce that I'm seriously thinking of (a) completely rebuilding the multi-site install it's on, or (b) moving away from Commerce onto something else.

No problem, I'll keep at trying to reproduce this, and I really appreciate the time you've taken to let me know about this issue!
