Does vegas-spark sub-sample spark dataframes?

Hello,

is there documentation on how dataframes are actually plotted?
In some of my plots I noticed that some details are missing.
So I was wondering how the data for the plotting is actually assembled.
Coming from python/matlab/etc. I found navigating the code base a bit involved.
If someone could give me a pointer to the place in the code to understand the internals, that would be great.
