Summary

This ticket is for thoughts / debate on how we can improve the general UX of the onboarding flow, as well as how and when we on ramp / off ramp.

Flow

  • I really think the connect step shoud be in the stepper ... I dont see why not .... if the primary function of this stepper is to cater for ppl landing with referral sets etc then lets show them the whole flow, so they know what this screen is for and why they're here.
  • I also think maybe with a longer stepper we could have a BACK and SKIP button and that would help us cater for the case where you need to go and deposit more to create a team.... and also you could just skip to end to get out? Might feel nice? Probably for consideration later once the actual bugs have been ironed out.
  • If we dont decide to do that stepper to let you skip (or maybe even if we do) we probably need a "Take me to trading" button available at all times.

On ramp / off ramp

  • Do we need a warning when you try to dismiss the onboarding banner that says something like "You will not be able to re-enter onboarding once you dismiss. You can still deposit and join teams via the normal pages." or something?
  • Need to review what the message in that banner is and whether it should change for different statuses.
