Qt5 has reached its end of support. Most Linux distros plan to remove it soon. I'm the maintainer of the asymptote package in Gentoo Linux; Gentoo plans to remove Qt5 and PyQt5 in a few months.
I suppose porting from PyQt5 to PyQt6 is not very difficult. And it is crucial for the future of asymptote. The only alternative is to remove xasy.
