Mission #1

What about something more like "Letsfix exists to improve the world around us." |
And all the things we have listed now are still valid, no need to throw them out. But maybe they could be moved into some sort of goals? (Opening questions of semantics about 'mission' vs. 'goals') |
I was thinking along similar lines. What we have now can be renamed into 'Manifesto' (?), or something of that sorts. |
The mission should be a mission 'statement' |

suggestion... "Letsfix - a problem solving collective" |
Totally! This is what I came up with tonight: MISSIONWe want to live together, better, & make it as easy as possible to fix the problems we share. The Letsfix network exists to identify issues, collect our options, and coordinate the effort needed to resolve. Anyone can join, and everyone is welcome. |
Comments from Loren R re this version: "I like it. I'm not sure how I feel about 'collect'. Not sure if that's the right word. Gather? Discuss? Discuss might be too passive." "better is vague. Better than what?" "Coordinate the effort need to resolve... Resolve what? Don't think you can just end it there." Revising together we came up with this:

This is coming along nicely :-) |
Been ruminating on this and now feeling like https://github.com/LetsFix/letsfixdotnet/blob/master/mission.md should be something real short and sweet. Like a single line. Unlike what is going on now. cec102b too complicated
