Describe the bug
Back button not working once you try to search for a deployment

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open mzima mobile client in xcode or android studio
  2. Go to profile > switch deployment, you will find the deployments screen where there is a search input and list of deployments to choose from
  3. Click on the search input to open up search in full screen
  4. Click on the back button to try to go back to the deployments screen
  5. See that the back button does not work

Expected behavior
Back button should take user back to the deployments screen

Screenshots

If you can't see the screenshot added on github, open the issue on linear (request for access to linear through our Gitter community channel or on slack).

Test Checks

  • after searching for a deployment, clicking back button should navigate application back to deployments screen
  • back button on any page should proceed to navigate to previous screen

@Remi-dee Well done! I'm assigning you to this issue 👍

Thank you! @Angamanga. I'd love to mention that i was unable to reproduce this behavior as the app goes back to the deployment screen (as expected) when the back button is clicked (see the screen record below).

However, i'd love to seek clarification if this was because i had only run the mobile client on browser and not on android Studio or Xcode.

Do i neccessarily need to run mobile client on Android Studio or Xcode to reproduce this behavior?

@Remi-dee This might be the case, sometimes issues aren't reproducible. I you would like to verify the issue it would be of great help to me, please download our app on app-store or google play and try reproducing it from there, and then let me know in a comment to this thread. Thank you very much 🙏

Hello @Angamanga trust you're well, so after carefully testing Ushahidi Mobile App from Appstore on IOS, i am still unable to reproduce this behaviour as the back button works as it should be: (see gif below).

However, i have not been able to replicate this test on an android mobile device since i don't own one but i'll do that before the end of today and update with this thread so we can verify this is the same behavior on all platform.
