The automatic_updates module committed a mechanism for hosting companies to be able to inform Drupal sites that it shouldn't be used. It was released in 8.x-2.4.

To take advantage of this we need to:

  1. Create a docs page that explains why the module is disabled by Lagoon
  2. Add an environment variable to the base image (probably nginx-drupal?) that points to the docs
