This would be one level removed from outright deleting projects (#13): giving projects some kind of "hide" flag that would, in certain contexts (what contexts?)

This issue aggregates the idea of having any kind of explicit "hide flag" over semantically determining it based on other factors (such as having an app follow the rule "don't display projects beyond stage 2" or something like that).

I could see this coming up only as a hack to avoid coming up with a model to resolve a particularly messy question of semantics (see #15): in general, I want hiding to be a feature of views, not data.
