I generally use the quick look extension of Apparency (https://www.mothersruin.com/software/Apparency/) to take a look at new apps I install. Weirdly, for musicpod it shows that Mac recognizes your apple developer ID but its showing as being rejected by gatekeeper. I looked at the explanation of it on Apparency's website and here's what is says:
'The app or component was signed with a certificate that is not trusted by Gatekeeper (or perhaps not even by macOS). This might be case the if the component was signed with a third-party certificate (which would be uncommon) or perhaps with an Apple-issued certificate that is not of the Developer ID variety (such as an App Store distribution certificate, which is only supposed to be used for submission to Apple, but is sometimes mistakenly used elsewhere).'
So, I think your apple developer ID is not being trusted by gatekeeper? The application still seems to open and run fine so I'm not sure if this is a real issue or not.
