Description

Request a method to import data from a csv (comma separated values) file where the column titles are automatically mapped to properties in the AFFiNE data base. Or/And import data from a folder of markdown files that contain YAML properties that are automatically mapped to properties in the AFFiNE data base.

Use case

Import my Zettelkasten, which has properties associated with each note (zettel). I can export these as records in a .csv file or .md file. Then, easily import them into an AFFiNE database.

Thank you for your interest in this potential functionality within AFFiNE. I have attached a Zip file that contains a .csv file and several .md files from an experimental version of my Zettelkasten. There is also another lengthy .md file (written in AFFiNE and exported as markdown) that gives the background, workflow and explanations of what the properties (YAML) and columns in the .csv are all about. I am intrigued with AFFiNE and see great potential for my use case, especially as AI becomes increasingly incorporated and functional. I am certain this attached content will generate numerous questions (and I hope ideas for how people use these kinds of tools) and help you formulate the future of AFFiNE.
