This kinda does what you're looking for. It helps me figure out volume and panning at a glance at least
I searched in the documentation for "channel volume bar" and also looked inside the menus in furnace, but did not find this option.
Is is already implemented in a main release? Could you please provide a guide on where exactly to enable this in furnace if so?

Thanks, I tried this channel volume bar with Real (stereo). I think it goes into the direction of what I was thinking, but not fully. I was thinking of a view/option with per channel volume meters put horizontally next to each other, with the same visual and color coding as the overall volume meter, like in a basic mixing view for the channels. When they are next to each other and additionally go from green to red, one can both quickly get an idea and also keep the volume situation observing when playing back a piece. The current channel volume bars make this task visually harder, although, they are better than nothing. |

furnace has an overall volume meter, and I think it would be useful to have per channel volume meters, too.
With per channel volume meters next to each other, one could see, at a glance, how the overall volume levels are behaving when composing a song and playing it back. Such a visual cue could help significantly for mixing purposes.
