Choose different hardware output for each soundchip.

I would like to know if it is possible to add a feature to choose different hardware outputs (soundcards or focusrite configured outputs) for each soundchip.

For example I want to be able to output my Sega Genesis songs to my headphones and in the same song I have an additional YM2612 that I want to output to an external FX console.

Is this possible?

I don't know if it's possible yet, but it sounds like if it is or ever will be, it'd be done in the mixer's patchbay

Furnace can already output to different audio ports, so, you probably can make custom software the interjects between Furnace and Windows's audio output and redirect different ports to different devices.
