I have it set in Shifty preferences to launch at login, and I also have it enabled in MacOS system settings under login items. Furthermore, in MacOS System settings > general > login items, underneath the “Allow in the Background” section, I have 1 item enabled for Shifty.
However, when I quit Shifty, log out, and log back in, Shifty launches and shows up in the menu bar but it does not actually do anything (I’m specifically testing True Tone) until I manually click its icon in the menu bar. Only then does Shifty activate/deactivate True Tone for selected apps. I’ve waited for at least 5 minutes for my tests before I click the Shifty icon.
