Suppressing rules doesn't seem to work

Suppose I want to ignore comment lines in my bibtex parser. So as per the documentation I add a class with suppress set.

This should work (as I understand the documentation), but doesn't.

This looks weird. I did the exact change and I don't get NoMatch so the parsing phase pass but all entries get suppressed. I will promote this to an issue and investigate when find some time.
