Symbols ~~(and the equations in symbolic form)~~ should be attached to ~~everything~~ all models as a first step to "ModelingToolkitize" Thunderbolt. See https://docs.sciml.ai/SymbolicIndexingInterface/stable/complete_sii/ .

It might be easier to add an MTK representation for the individual model components separately.
