Due to Shardy is not natively supported by openXLA, we are currently importing stablehlo mlir with Shardy dialect from openXLA intermediate format. According to Google engineer, the native support will require no such conversion. Once native support is there (expected Q1/Q2 2025), we should remove the importing pass.
