when all PRs are merged in, it should be a good time to rename master to main.
would need assistance of an admin since I can't edit default branch / repo options

We now have a main branch

  1. if an admin could change the settings of of this repo to use main instead of master as default branch
    @bob-white maybe?
  2. once this is done and protection is transfered from master, we can remove the master branch. (i should have permission)
