Problem with transparency, #639

hello aggain, |
Hello @mizka76 . Thank you for posting this issue! The nature of the bug looks like something may be happening inside libwebp (the official Google WebP library that PhotoDemon uses for WebP files). There is a newer version of libwebp available that may include a fix for this. It will take me a few days, but I will work on getting that new version integrated into PhotoDemon nightly builds. If you are able to reproduce the problem, I would be very grateful for a screenshot of the WebP settings that cause it. (It is likely a specific combination of image file + WebP settings - for example sometimes there are bugs that only occur at specific image dimensions.) Thank you so much in advance, and I will report back when I have the latest libwebp added to nightly builds. |
Okay, I lied - it didn't take a week! I pushed a new nightly build tonight with an updated copy of libwebp right now (v1.5.0 instead of the old 1.4.0) 😄 I hope that solves this problem, but if not please let me know and I will dig deeper. Thank you! |
Thaaaanks a lot ! good week end !
