PhotoDemon Year in Review: 2021

I realize we're nearing the end of February, but I've just posted a (rather lengthy) update at photodemon.org that discusses all the new features that landed in nightly builds in 2021:

It's a solid list of new features, I think, especially given the miserable effects pandemic life has had on my development schedule.

As the article discusses, I'm aiming for a new stable release potentially in autumn of this year, time permitting. I'm about 2/3 of the way through my TODO list for 9.0, but I don't have any remaining features that I expect to be particularly awful. (All of the scariest features are already finished, yay! See you in hell, nightmare selection tool overhaul project!)

All-in-all, I think PhotoDemon is in a good place. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, ideas, and support in 2021, and best wishes for a healthy and happy 2022 . ❤️
