Describe the question

I currently use yazi on linux ubuntu using gnome terminal (default ubuntu terminal) and it works great, and so I like to keep my different device environments in sync as much as possible. I just installed yazi on my MacBook Air m2 with MacOS sequoia 15.0.1. I have all the optional packages installed, but I don't see image previews, video previews, nor pdf previews.

I didn't see anything mentioned about non-support for macOS default terminal, but are there known issues with the default terminal in macOS or could it be just me?

Apple terminal itself doesn't support displaying images or true color. I highly recommend using a more modern terminal emulator.

Ah I see. ok cool. I downloaded ghostty and yazi works great with it!
