Option to "dumbify" the new tutorial dropdown navigation back to how it was before Advent Day 7 #1004

I recognise this might be a case of xkcd 1172 which is why I am proposing an option (read toggle?) for this as opposed to a complete reversal.

Day 7 of 2024's Svelte's advent of svelte changed the navigation on the tutorial from what was described as "essentially a giant, unwieldy element" (not the case - fwiw) to a "hierarchical menu". In my opinion this was a mistake. I will explain why below. In my opinion, as a newcomer and avid tutorial user, the "everything at a glance" select was amazing. The biggest reason for this was that after having competed one major section - basic svelte, advanced svelte, etc, I could refer to any sub subsection instantly after opening the menu. I did not have to remember which major section or subsection it was in. In addition, while going through the subsections of a major section for the first time, I could see exactly what was going to follow and decide whether I wanted to skip or not the sections that I thought were irrelevant to me. I understand that in a way I was using the tutorial as a sort of docs. Which.. is fine actually? It has code examples and problem solutions, which works for me and is usually what I want from docs. More importantly, since I'm new, I haven't reviewed the docs too much because I don't know what I want, and the tutorial is a really good reference to guide me towards learning what I want. I want the big select element back.
