When I press Print Screen to take a screenshot a message appears for about 1 second:

Screenshot saved to [...]

So the next screenshot i take might contain that message if i take multiple screenshots fast.

So I suggest somehow not include that message in the screenshot.

I don't know if the same happens when recording videos since I can't see the videos being recorded. The videos are all black.

If it can't seem to be done with such a message then perhaps the message could be removed.

If taking screenshots or coping/pasting in other software I guess it's normal that there is not any feedback about it.

A low volume camera shutter sound could be used instead of a text message. But maybe that could get annoying when taking lots of screenshots.

The point of the message is also to point people to the location of the screenshot in their folder. Without the message, it would be easy to be confused on whether it was properly saved (a sound works too, but only if the game's sound is on and loud enough) or on where to find it.

In what kind of situations do you need to take multiple screenshots in rapid succession? If there is something changing fast and you want to show that, a video is going to work much better.

I was taking some screenshots while player e.g. multiplayer soccer so can be hard getting the right picture.
So I press Print Screen a few times and look at the screenshots later to pick the best.

The message could still be on-screen without getting into the screenshot.
Just remove any messages right before taking the screenshot.

As soon as i press Print Screen the message for the old screenshot is removed.
So it looks like the screenshot function is trying to remove any message before taking the screenshot.

So it would be like this:
Press Print Screeen
Remove message
Take screeenshot
Show new message

The message gives away information about the system/folders/username/date that might be unwanted.
And the text is placed somewhat in the middle of the screen. Basically right in front of what you are looking at the most.

For video recording the message appears at the bottom with styling so at least it's inconsistent with that.

Video recording seems to add the message "Video recording started." to all videos which is silly.

I'm also able to capture the "Video saved in [...]" and "Screenshot saved to [...]" in video recordings.

Seems like the string "Screenshot saved to [...]" is not translatable on Transifex.
