There are many archival collections that just have Searchworks records. Here's one where the Searchworks record is heavily detailed: https://searchworks.stanford.edu/view/13827075 Here's another for a 1 box collection where the searchworks record extensively captures the letter-writers via contributors: https://searchworks.stanford.edu/view/13355412 I could find many more. It's a wide mix.
There are concerns from curators/bibliographers that users won't understand that there are some archival collections that will not be represented in Archival Collections at Stanford. The proposed solution for these could be to publish the collection record from ArchivesSpace. I'm not sure how the archivists want to handle these or if there's a full accounting of them.
