I would love it if bxSlider would accept keyboard commands when it is in focus - this would both increase accessibility and make the whole webpage feel more intuitive and responsive.

If you click through the pull request (#239) you'll see some additional improvements were offered --

Other then that it seems like it just needs a maintainer :P
