[1.21.3pre5] Light leaking underground and light along blocks underground #7794

I have the Complementary Reimagined shader on with optifine 1.21.3pre5 installed and im noticing that light will leak underground randomly. its not all the time it all depends on how close/far away i am from the block. I figured its just an issue with the pre5 version so tried others such as pre4 and pre3. I was incorrect with this assumption. It seems to get worse the higher version you go. Is there any fix to this?

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install Complementary Reimagined and the optifine 1.21.3 versions (any of the pre's)
  2. Run the game with default shader settings.
  3. Open a world and go inside a cave

This may be fixed in the latest preview.

still happens but its less often now with the new version!
