Rails 4 / Ruby SDK

Hey guys,

I am wondering if this is working with Rails 4 since it's using the deprecated Merchant SDK. And are there any plans (or existing gems) to use the new Ruby SDK that PayPal provides?

Hi @chalmagean, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, we started to clean up this repo before we eventually decided to move the project we were working on onto braintree v0 instead.

The old SDK will still work against rails 4, but we know it is not idea. We suspect that we'd do better with a ground-up rewrite of this extension right now rather than attempting to fix it.

So are there any plans for the immediate future to support the new SDK?

At the moment there are no plans to upgrade it to support the new SDK, however pull requests are always appreciated.

@Dkendal It doesn't look like solidus_braintree supports v0, either. What is the repo that may eventually have support? Thanks.

@jdar I believe that Bonobos fork of solidus braintree provides v.zero support https://github.com/bonobos/solidus_braintree . Hope that helps!
