Customers are limited to purchasing one phone number per tenant for Azure Communication Services through the Phone Numbers SDK or through the Azure Portal. Customers who are interested in a special order (ex. acquiring large quantities of numbers or specific area codes) or if the number acquisition needs to be completed manually, can do so by following the process below. For a new number order, you will need to work through the following steps:

To port your existing telephone numbers over to Azure Communication Services, you need to download the corresponding form below and submit it over to our Service Desk team. The team will then guide you through the process and keep you updated on the port-in order progress.

PLEASE NOTE: You need to have an eligible Azure Subscription and Resource to be able to port numbers.
In some countries, releasing a telephone number needs to be done through our Service Desk team. To release the telephone number in these countries, follow the steps below:

Send an email with the numbers you need to be released to [email protected]. Use "ACS Number Release Request" as part of your subject line

Our Service Desk team will let you know once the request is completed.
