Getting D365 version related error when importing SmartButtons solution into OnPremise environment

Hello,

while trying to import Smart Buttons solution (versions SmartButtons v1.2.381.1 and higher) into my D365 OnPremise environment, I am getting the following error:

You can only import solutions with a package version of 9.0 or earlier into this organization

My D365 OnPremise evrionment organization version is 1612 (9.0.28.1).

Is it an expected behaviour? I couldn't find any comments here that would point out a specific version of onprem environment as na required one.

I would appreciate your help in solving this.
