No fake menu icon introduced, the one set on AppBar/CupertinoNavigationBar can be used!
Consider though exposing to the user the scale factor on the transform/transformNoRotate some folks just want to slide it to the right without scaling it down.
Another thing to think about (and I do not even know if it would be easy to implement - just had a brief look at the code) would be an implementation allowing for the following; once the drawer is activated the AppBar/CupertinoNavigationBar remains unaffected and where it is and only the body of the scaffold gets shifted.
Anyways man! You're getting a thumb up and I am forking your repo just to modify it so that I get to choose the scaling factor.
