Description

This is a React.js app that utilizes the Nasa API to display information and images related to astronomy and space Daily.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/your-username/filename.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory: cd filename
  3. Install the dependencies: npm install

Usage

  1. Obtain an API key from the Nasa API website, https://api.nasa.gov
  2. Create a .env file in the root directory of the project.
  3. Add your API key to the .env file: REACT_APP_NASA_API_KEY=your-api-key
  4. Start the development server: npm start
  5. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to view the app.

Deployment

To deploy the app to a hosting platform, follow these steps:

  1. Build the app for production by running the command: npm run build.
  2. Once the build is complete, you will have a build directory in the root of your project.
  3. Upload the contents of the build directory to your hosting platform.
  4. Configure your hosting platform to serve the app using the appropriate settings.
  5. Once the deployment is complete, you can access your app using the provided URL.
