Steps To Reproduce

In a CoCalc Jupyter notebook using SageMath 10.4, the plot function does not work when 3 is added to a hypergeometric function. See attached screen shots.

Expected Behavior

The second plot should look like the third plot or the first plot with an upward vertical shift by 3.

Actual Behavior

The second plot command yields an error message.

Additional Information

The actual file is in my CoCalc project Math212 Calculus II in Labs > Lab13 Approximations > Problem with plot.ipynb.

Environment

  • OS: Windows
  • Sage Version: 10.4

Checklist

  • I have searched the existing issues for a bug report that matches the one I want to file, without success.
  • I have read the documentation and troubleshoot guide

This may be a duplicate -- it is probably the same bug as #37776.
