Rust analyzer throws error when editing file in nvim

Whenever I start with a boilerplate main.rs file, highlight everything and delete this happens (rust analyzer throwing a warning for every thing, stopping me from typing almost)

Just update to the latest neovim(v0.11.0), it’s is still a development version, but already has this fix.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, is there any way of installing it with brew, or is compiling the only option

Unfortunately I am not under macOS to test it, but brew install --HEAD neovim should work.

That seams to be the solution, but I get an error compiling it:

@attilarepka, I resolved this by also install the HEAD of utf8proc (brew install -HEAD utf8proc), thanks again though (sick portfolio btw)

Hi again @attilarepka, i have updated both utf8proc and nvim to HEAD, but now i get a different error: rust_analyzer: -32802: server cancelled the request. This only appears like two times each time when i start editing the file, after that it continues to work as normal.

please ensure you have a HEAD build of neovim with this fix included.
This resolved the issue on my end.

I tried to reinstall nvim (head), and it seems to be working now.... but of course i get another warning position_encoding param is required in vim.lsp.util.make_position_params. Defaulting to position encoding of the first cl ient. This only happens in rust files
