Clojure projects can use a deps.edn file (docs) to manage dependencies. This accepts Maven or Git dependencies for remote dependencies.

The deps-edn manager in Renovate currently only supports Maven dependencies.

Git dependencies must always have a commit hash (:git/sha), with a Git tag (:git/tag) being optional. This requires 2 modes of operation:

1. :git/sha
   • Find the newest descendant commit of the current commit (probably won't work if a commit has multiple descendants).
2. :git/sha + :git/tag
   • Find the newest tag (follow semver?).

3. Select the Use this template button to create a new repository based on the template.
4. Work on the minimal reproduction in your own repository.
5. Fill out the information in your repository's README.md.
6. Add the link to your reproduction to the first post of your Discussion. If you are not the original author, you can post a new comment with the link.
