Determine if a locator is visible in a VisualNavigator?

Is it possible to check if a given locator is currently visible? I wasn't able to find a method for this. I did find firstVisibleElementLocator, and I suppose if lastVisibleElementLocator were also available one could check if the locator in question sits between the first and last visible locators.

Unfortunately there's no API for that at the moment.

We plan for the v4 to add typed locators, which would make this easier. Because depending on the locations inside a given Locator, it might be difficult or impossible to know if the locator is visible.
