Hide or move notification when cursor is under window

I'm often editing text files that span the entire window. When the cursor is moved to where the window is, it would be nice if it was moved out of the way, or temporarily hidden or just dismissed.

I looked for a similar ticket but couldn't find one, apologies if this is a dupe. I did see #204, but it's not exactly the same as it's not asking for specific behavior to address the issue.
