I've tested this on a Raspberry Pi 4 and also a Pi Zero W. I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work on a Raspberry Pi 3. The Pi Zero has some performance issues so, if you're looking for throughput without lag, I wouldn't recommend it. Basically, the code relies on a number of threads so multiple cores helps out.
