App Version: 2.5 - sideloaded using Apple Developer account provisioned certificate
Hardware/OS: iPhone 16 Pro - iOS 18.2 (using authentic Apple AirPods Pro 2)
Issue: App keeps playing when one AirPod is removed. It will stop only when both are removed. It’s ignoring the “automatic ear detection” setting. When set to on (default) apps should pause when one AirPod is detected as removed
Expected: App should pause once iOS detects one AirPod was removed (assuming option is selected in AirPods settings- which it is)
Replicate: Using AirPods, play something then remove one AirPod. The media will continue, ignoring the removal of the AirPod
What I tried: Checked the settings to ensure setting is on (it is for both pairs). Also all other apps do pause automatically if AirPod is removed. I have two pairs of AirPods Pro 2. One slightly older with lightning connector and one newer with USB C. Both pairs respond the same. Both pairs are authentic, purchased from Apple.
I do wonder if sideloading affects this permission? Perhaps the AppStore version has no issues.
(Btw, thank you for this app. It seems to run smoother than the other one from the ABS dev team directly. I didn’t even know this was on the App Store, so I may have to purchase to show support now. Allowing the choice to sideload it is also appreciated)
