SAP Process Automation consists of cloud and on-premise desktop components. The cloud components get activated when you configure SAP Process Automation BTP Service using Boosters

The on-premise Desktop Agent component setup consists of 3 steps

  1. Install the technical pre-requisites
  2. Desktop Agent Installation
  3. Desktop Agent Registration

1. Install the technical prerequisites

SAP Process Automation Desktop Agent requires the following softwares to be installed in your Windows System

  1. Latest version of Microsoft Edge
  2. .NET Framework 4.7.2

2. Desktop Agent to Run Automations

In the windows system, install Desktop agent by following the instructions given in this documentation page Install Desktop Agent to Run Automations | SAP Help Portal

3. Desktop Agent Registraion

After successful installation of Desktop Agent, you can register and activate the desktop agent with your SAP Process Automation Service by following this documentation page
