Feature description

Currently, the "relation reference" widget only supports "Order by value" with an "ascending" order.

We would like to see support for an arbitrary sort expression (also based on attributes not used in the "Display Expression" - and support for "sort order" - also allowing "descending order".

  1. Support of arbitrary "Sort expression", independent of the "Display expression"
  2. Support of "Sort order" (ascending and descending)
  3. Support of "numeric" sorting, if the "sort expression" results in numeric expression result

@andreasneumann the option has disappeared completely on 3.34(.4). Any idea if it was replaced by something else that maybe addresses also the request made in this ticket?
