its unusable for me, its too cpu intensive, i thought you had the cpu stuff fixed with this update #45
Comments
Specs? DAW? Try reducing your buffer size. There have been performance improvements, but it's still pretty CPU hungry. That's just the nature of it, I canne work miracles! |
i'm using flstudio, intel core i7 with mx250 |
If you could you could upload a screenshot of your system profile, that might be helpful. That said, chances are it's not your hardware but Fruity loops, I have OG running on a 10th gen i5 laptop and it's running smoothly in Reaper. Of all the DAWs I've tested, Logic and FL are the worst performers. I'll see if I can figure out something for the next release. |
Thanks for this. To put things into context I'm running OG2 in Reaper with an i5-10210u and with all stages active it never hits over 22%. Your i7-6700k should easily beat this as it's around 50% faster by all accounts.. Right now I'm on Linux with no easy way to test Windows software, but I'll see about getting FlStudio up and running next week. In meanwhile, have a look at this: https://fltips.com/blogs/fl-tips-blog/how-to-boost-your-cpu-in-fl-studio |
