We would like to have a minimal img file for the flight computer OS with an up-to-date kernel. We should keep a minimal img around along with one with the av3-fc installed.

Currently there is a lot of cruft with about 3 years of uneven upgrades.

This would be a good thing to do at least a month before launch in order to observe upgrade side effects. Seems unlikely to be needed now, after the launch. If we want to keep the FC in tip-top condition for future development, feel free to assign this one to me.
