Is a release for F-Droid planned?

Sorry for the late reply, we're not really monitoring this repo as there's no activity and the code is way outdated.

The app here is an old and minimal example on how to use projectM on Android, not any kind of useful application.

The current Android app available in the Play Store is still being developed as a closed-source app, so while the author has indicated he's fine with opening it up, his time to actually remove all proprietary code from it is limited and it'll take a while. Once that's done, we'll be probably be adding the app to this project and then surely release it on F-Droid as well as APKs here on GitHub for sideloading.

When I used PinePhone Pro, I was able to use project M on mobile and it was really cool. I don't install proprietary software in the user-space of my phone. Can you leave this issue open until this happens so I know about it?

Sure thing, just stay subscribed to this issue and I'll post any updates as they come in!

I'm in active contact with Peter Sperl, he's eager to help but hasn't much time to work on the app. He's currently migrating it to projectM 4, so I'd expect a source release some time after that's done.
